Professional Experience: Daniel has spent over a decade supporting the education and nonprofit sectors. He brings experience in organizational strategy and growth, process improvement, people management, and mixed methods research. Most of his career has been with the Strategic Research department of EAB, where he advised leaders at colleges, universities, and school districts. His work spanned areas including strategic planning, academic program analysis and revitalization, and career development. Prior to Kinetic West, Daniel worked with clients in higher education and climate change mitigation at Wellspring Consulting. Through Daniel's academic and professional work, he has collaborated with organizations across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Daniel holds a Master’s in Public Policy degree from Harvard University and a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Haverford College.

Why I do this work: My early research focused on higher education clarified for me how broadly and deeply inequities run through our society, creating roadblocks for countless talented and driven members of our community at nearly every turn. Similar challenges pervade every sector, and I feel moved to play a small part in surfacing and addressing them.

Where you’ll find me when I’m not consulting: Taking long walks with my wife through city streets or on the trail, singing in a chorus, photographing the outdoors, playing tennis, slowly learning the piano, and traveling to ride the newest big roller coaster (the one thing Seattle lacks!)
