Alaska’s workforce leaders faced a fragmented landscape of promising but disconnected projects. Through statewide convenings facilitated by Kinetic West, stakeholders created a unifying plan, established the Alaska Workforce Alliance, and launched early solutions that are reshaping the state’s workforce future.

The Port of Seattle needed to focus its workforce development strategy amid rising demands and a changing port economy. Kinetic West delivered a national landscape analysis, distilling 90+ programs into a clear framework that secured leadership buy-in and set the stage for long-term impact.

Washington Roundtable partnered with Kinetic West to better understand the journeys of students after age 26—both those who complete a credential and those who don’t. Together, we explored what it takes to help more Washingtonians complete postsecondary education and succeed in lifelong careers.

Washington’s economy is growing faster than the nation’s—but so is the gap in skilled workers. Together with Washington Roundtable, Kinetic West mapped the state’s projected shortfall of nearly 600,000 credentialed workers by 2032 and identified pathways for business, education, and policymakers to close it.
